Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter (melted; do not brown)
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 7–8 tablespoons peanut butter

Tip: For a firmer texture, use less peanut butter. For creamier fudge, use closer to 8 tablespoons.

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a pan over low heat (do not brown).
  2. Add evaporated milk and sugar. Bring to a boil for 6–7 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and peanut butter until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour into a buttered flat pan. Refrigerate until set; cut into squares.
